MUNFW UNITAR Session MUNFW will hold a seminar (UNITAR) on resolution writing during its 61st Session. The UNITAR session will take place on Saturday, April 17 from 8:30 am – 9:30 am in the General Assembly room. Regular committee sessions will not begin until 9:45 on Saturday. Additionally, MUNFW DPI will not accept resolutions before 1:00 pm on Saturday, so delegates will not miss important negotiations in committees. Several United Nations employees along with resolution experts and Secretariat members will provide information on proper resolution format as well as tips for negotiating and writing consensus resolutions. The intention of MUNFW’s UNITAR session is to help Far West delegates gain a greater understanding of UN resolution format, vernacular and negotiating strategies. It is intended for all delegates as well as advisors. The Special Session update has been posted on the Issues book page.
